Luis Moreno Mansilla was one of the best, if not the best, of the architects who have worked in my studio. His works made in collaboration with Emilio Tuñón, who was also his companion in my studio, are recognized as among the best in the panorama of Spanish architecture today. This affirmation is founded on the work they have done since they began their own practice in 1992. From the very beginning – the Zamora Museum, the Castellón Museum and the Centro Cultural El Águila in Madrid, first prizes in national competitions – they proved to be extremely talented and sensitive designers, able to achieve beautifully crafted buildings.
